This policy explains what information KnittyKitty collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

1. Data we collect

KnittyKitty stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Knitting project details (name, row counts, notes, status)
• Yarn stash entries (name, brand, fiber, meterage, notes)
• Pattern details (name, designer, notes)
• Photos you select from your device gallery (stored as references on your device)
• App preferences (e.g. whether onboarding has been shown)

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on external servers. Everything stays on your device.

2. In-app purchases

KnittyKitty offers optional premium subscriptions processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not handle or store any payment information. Your subscription status is verified through Google Play. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how payment data is handled.

3. Permissions

KnittyKitty requests the following Android permission:

• Storage / Media access: used only to let you pick photos from your gallery for your projects and yarn entries. Photos are never uploaded anywhere.

4. Third-party services

Other than Google Play Billing (for subscriptions), KnittyKitty does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5. Children's privacy

KnittyKitty is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
